Coffee and strategy
We have discussed in class strategies relating to coffee. The following materials may
be of interest.
Some added value can be obtained by branding, with names such as "Lion of Judah" and "Haile Selaisse".
Packaging in traditional fabrics, such as cotton (over any air-tight packet) would help the
appearance.
Some coffee companies have launched cans of coffee to drink, with and without milk.
It would also be produce one or more variants of a liquer, that is an alcohol drink flavoured with
coffee. Existing brands include:
It would also be possible to combine coffee with chocolate to make coffee flavoured chocolates,
chocolate in coffee bean shapes and mocha-flavoured drinks and even a liquer. Indeed, a mix of coffee
and spices or just spices would be possible.
Ice cream with coffee flavour would also be possible. As would bottles of coffee flavouring.
